WIC helps families.

WIC supports moms, moms-to-be, and their families with:

  • healthy food
  • nutrition advice
  • breastfeeding support
  • referrals to other services
You may be eligible for WIC.

You may be eligible if you:

  • live in New York
  • are pregnant or have a child under age 5
  • meet income guidelines

Dads, grandparents, and other caregivers can apply for children under 5 in their care. Working families and non-U.S. citizens can qualify, too.

WIC can help you.

To learn more, chat with Wanda, WIC’s 24/7 virtual assistant. In less than 3 minutes, you can see if you may be eligible and get a referral to your local WIC clinic.

You can also call the Growing Up Healthy Hotline at 1-800-522-5006 and ask for help with WIC, or see this list of local WIC Clinics.
