With gratitude for her years of leadership and service, we are announcing that Linda Bopp has stepped down as Executive Director of Hunger Solutions New York on February 1, 2021. In her 14 years with the organization, Hunger Solutions New York expanded its reach and influence and grew to a $7 million agency with a statewide footprint. She’s worked tirelessly to build and strengthen the organization and position it for continued success in the future.
Linda leaves an impressive record of achievement which is matched by her generosity of spirit. When reviewing with staff members all the organization has accomplished in the past 14 years Linda said: “Of course, I did not achieve all this; WE achieved all this. I am so proud of what we all achieved together. The past 14 years have been an amazing journey. I can’t imagine a more dedicated group of staff and Board members, past and present, with whom to have taken this journey. Our work has always been in pursuit of our mission and now I am excited to step aside and cheer on the next generation of leadership.”
Linda’s passion for and commitment to our mission to alleviate hunger has made a lasting difference in the lives of countless New Yorkers and will continue to shape the work of Hunger Solutions New York for years to come. We wish Linda much success and happiness in her future endeavors.
