Hunger Solutions New York, formed in 1985 as the Nutrition Consortium of New York State, Inc., is a caring and informed voice for hungry New Yorkers. Hunger Solutions New York is a statewide, private, nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger for residents of New York State.

Through the Nutrition Outreach and Education Program (NOEP), Hunger Solutions New York works to expand participation in the Food Stamp Program, School Breakfast Program, and Summer Food Service Program.

Additionally, Hunger Solutions conducts statewide outreach to expand child nutrition programs, and food assistance programs for older adults.

Hunger Solutions New York advocates on state and federal legislation and works with local, state, and federal officials to foster policies which increase access to food and participation in nutrition assistance programs.

Hunger Solutions works collaboratively with a variety of state, regional, and national partners and is a member of the Northeast Regional Anti-Hunger Network (NERAHN).
