Dottie Rosenbaum, Senior Fellow, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities

In this workshop, the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities will use data to tell the story of how and why SNAP is an important, effective and efficient program that alleviates hunger in NYS and nationally, lifting millions out of poverty each year. SNAP’s strengths and powerful reach will be highlighted, including who the program serves and the short- and long-term benefits for children and other populations.
