USDA has released updated reimbursement rates for the Child and Adult Care Food Program(CACFP), effective July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018. The new rates include modest increases in per-meal and per-snack reimbursements for CACFP centers and afterschool programs, while the rates for daycare homes remain unchanged aside from a one cent decrease in the Tier II lunch/supper reimbursement rate.

CACFP reimbursements help fund nutritious meals and snacks served in qualified care settings, including afterschool programs and daycare homes and centers. To learn more about CACFP and to view current reimbursement rates for each care setting, visit ChildcareMealsNY.org.
