Food Help NY: Find A NOEP

NOEP Coordinator services have been temporarily suspended.

Please check back for updates. In the meantime, you can apply for SNAP at myBenefits.

Having Trouble Putting Food on the Table? SNAP Works. NOEP Helps.

SNAP helps New Yorkers buy food. If you are eligible for SNAP, you can get monthly benefits to spend at local grocery stores and farmers’ markets. To be eligible, you must meet certain income requirements. The amount of benefits you receive depends on things like your household size, income and expenses.

The Nutrition Outreach and Education Program (NOEP) can help you see if you may be eligible for SNAP. NOEP Coordinators help you gather the documents you need, and fill out and send in your SNAP application. You’ll also get information on other programs that may help stretch your food budget, like school meals and summer meals for kids. The service is free and confidential.

COVID-19 Update:

You can apply for and use SNAP while keeping a safe distance from other people. Everything you need to do to apply for and receive benefits can be done by phone or online. Use SNAP at local grocery stores or shop online at Amazon, Walmart, or ShopRite and have groceries delivered or picked up. (See their websites for availability in your area.)

Use this map to find your local NOEP Coordinator:
