Hunger Solutions New York’s annual SNAP Prescreening Guide has been updated and is available in digital form.
The new guide reflects the Oct. 1, 2016, changes to the federal poverty levels used to determine SNAP eligibility, and the standards and deductions used to determine monthly benefits. It also highlights SNAP policy changes that occurred between Oct. 2015 and Sept. 2016.

It also includes an extensive appendix of helpful checklists, guides and frequently used forms, including the SNAP application, an expanded categorical eligibility desk guide, a checklist for student SNAP eligibility and more.
