More Working Families Now Eligible For SNAP Toolkit

Families and individuals with earned income are allowed to use 150% of poverty for their gross income test (GIT) when applying for SNAP benefits.  This means more working families will be eligible for SNAP, including families previously ineligible because they were just over the guidelines. This toolkit provides a flyer for community organizations to share with clients and a Categorical Eligibility Desk Guide to help community organizations better understand and determine categorical eligibility for SNAP applicants.
