NEW on May 4! Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program Pocket Flyers
(Not specific to this campaign, but still relevant to older adults). As all SFMNP participants (<185% FPL) are income eligible for food stamp benefits, NCNYS-created pocket flyers were printed by NYS Dept. of Ag & Markets and distributed through the SFMNP coupon pick-up sites the past 2 years. Budget cuts will probably prevent NYS Ag & Markets from printing them this year. NOEPs are invited to print them for local OFAs to distribute when seniors are issued their coupons later this spring. May 11 update: Great news! NYS Ag & Markets will print these for all SFMNP recipients in upstate counties and Long Island in the coming weeks! We will keep NYC NOEPs posted.
